We are going for a romantic weekend away and want to be in walking distance from all the sights...and good hotel ideas and good pubs/resturants? thanksHotels in Bath?
It depends how romantic your budget can be. There are some excellent hotels in the Centre , but I'd rate the five-star Macdonald Bath Spa Hotel on seven acres gardens as one of the best and personal. It has it's own grounds, is a great romantic retreat yet it is only a 10-minute walk from the centre, and close to the Roman Baths, Pump Room and main shops.

Agreed, Bath is a great choice -- lots to see and do, and very romantic. :-D

Facilities Include Restaurant, Spa Gym, Swimming Pool, Yoga Classes etc.......
Bath is great and very romantic, we stayed in the Hilton which was very nice and right by the river within walking distance of all the shops, pubs etc. Have a great time!
